EDIT:
They came finally....blah. Guy in, Check stuff, out lets go. She wanted to go upstairs and check things. He went up to check furnace, we did the smoke detectors for him, and hit the jacuzzi button. Bitched about the cat smell. Hello, like the house didnt stink when we moved in cause of your cat (they lived here prior) Besides my cat is going bye bye this week (i hope) and he stays in one room cause I am allergic to him and the only time you smell it is when you open the door (which he had to do to access the furnace in the attic) And they knew we had a cat anyway.

She tried so hard to get upstairs and be nosey. Bad enuf I thot her neck was gonna break she was craning it so much looking around the living room. LOL. She is really odd about stuff. "Dont you use the front door?" HUH? "well you have it sealed off" again HUH? "the stuff you have taped up" No, that is door sweep to keep out the cold and the stickem on it gave out so I used packing tape to hold it up. "OH" It's metal door not painted wood, comes right off.

This was JUST a maitenence check for certain things according to a letter we recieved. Apparently she thot it was a social event since she bought the kid (not yet 3 btw) SIGH. LOL...He was funny, "OK in see ya 2 years."

Doll, what is your take on this? Should she have brought the kid and even been here herself for just a maintence check? I have no problem having them do a full inspection once a year (wouldnt prefer it) but when you get a letter for maintence check for specific things and having someone strain neck muscles trying to see other stuff, it just makes me kinda annoyed. Leave me alone, I pay my rent on time, I keep the place decent(cluttered and with second hand stuff, but decent) and dont call you for stupid stuff like changing a light bulb (we do it ourselves out of our own pocket)

Ok, I am done venting now, back to the thread at hand. MORE STORIES DOLL, I need to destress.

I think it's rather unprofessional that she came and that she even brought the child. See, when it comes to personal matters, I am no longer a lady with tact, lol. I hate to do this, but I must wait until tommorrow morning when the boss ducks out to write more! lol I am doing this on work time :0X. :: clears browser's history ::

Here's a quick silly one from about 6 months ago:

A woman, a very very snotty woman calls and wants to look at some of the houses. I say sure, no problem. We agree to meet at 3 o'clock. On the third house and one headache later, this made my day:

: Walking up to the door, woman screams and runs back to driveway :

Me: :: looking around for Dinosaur swooping in for lunch : What? What happend?

Crazy Lady: THERE'S A SNAAAAAAAAAKE!

Me: :: squints :: Oh, it's just a baby Garter snake. They don't bite, they're actually more scared of you then you are of them :: keeps walking ::

Crazy Lady talking to her husband: You would THINK being next to Disney they could CONTROL things like that... (it's not over yet...)

I show her the house and she's turning her nose up at everything considering this is one our nicest houses. I turn to open the sliding door and a lizard was stuck in the track and jumps out and runs outside. The lady is literally hovering over me as I'm opening the backdoor. She sees the lizard, jumps back into the glass dining table, and knocks the whole top off sending it smashing into a million pieces on the floor along with the table that WAS set for four.

Me: :: shocked :: It was a LIZARD!

Crazy Lady: Well, I'm not paying for that! You people should know how to control these things! :: stomps out of house while I stand in shock ::

It's fun to watch the tourists freak out when they see a anole or gecko here. They don't realize they're the best defense against roaches. You'd think they'd been bitten by a crockagator they way they carry on.

See, there really was a dinosaur, albeit a very small one but that little ankle biter variety can be vicious. LOL

Told my mom your story over the phone (mind you, not the smartest woman in the world) and she was like EWWW lizards. Told her, I would rather have them then the bugs. Heck, I had a friend in TX that had one living in her cabinet ,which she cleared out for it. LOL It had a name and everything. LOL

Crockagator?-do you have a pic of one of those Hobie? I cant wait to see one.

Thanks for the stories Doll.

I found gecko's here at work and took them home so they can eat the bugs. I love the little guys!

Jeez, I would rather have lizards and snakes hanging around, taking care of the insects! Guess she was an SG tourist in the truest sense of the phrase! It amazes me that they seem to think that Disney can control the weather and nature in general!
