Several years ago, I went to see Phantom at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and sitting next to me was a lady and her young son. The boy was probably only about 6, but he had incredible manners! When he saw I hadn't gotten a program, he very kindly gave me his! He must've been going to the theater since birth, and well trained by his parents! Why can't there be more kids (and adults, and teens) like that?

Oh man. If I had paid good money to see a Broadway show, and people were talking during it- I would be FURIOUS.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

My GF has raised her son to be very good during shows, he doesnt talk and squirming is a minimum and hes very polite. The only thing you can count on is he will need to get up and go to the potty during most shows (of course so does she and so will I if over about 90 minutes)

I have never been to a broadway show, about as close as I have gotten was Aladdin at California Adventure which I have probably seen about 60 times. When I first started to see it every trip I thought people were fairly well behaved, at least compared to the Snow White show at Disneyland. It seemed like people lost all their manners because they were outside instead of inside and the availability of food nearby made it worse. It seems to have gotten much worse, people with crying babies, food, flash pics, talking, I have had to tell people to be quite. I will get the usher CM if I need to also. the worst one (or maybe the best) I saw was Turtle talk at CA. A lady had a little girl that kept going up to the screen to touch Crush. When the lady pulled her away the started to kinda howl, but instead of leaving the show she went to the back of the theater. Normally this would be a big interuption except Crush started to imitate the little girls howl. Now you would think mom would get a hint and leave but nope, she stayed put. All throught the show Crush would howl like the little girl right in mid sentence and it was really funny. Not just your normal little kids asking the same questions but Crush howling. it would be like:
Little kid: "what do you eat?"
Crush: "See this grass--Howwwwlllll--on the ocean floor, thats what I eat, thats why I'm green."

It was really one of the funnyest shows I have seen and all because of an SG and her SG to be.

I hate Cell phones, I keep mine on vibrate when I'm at the parks, if I need to make a call i try to get away from other people so I dont bother anyone. But I use my phone more for taking pictures and listening to music than yapping. I have had to many jackasses bother me with cell phones.
I've gone to the parks with people who feel they need to call someone every hour.
Seen and heard a guy call work to "see how their doing" but really to brag about being at WDW.
Had a lady in the stretch room at DL take a call and yell at the other member of her party they "were in the haunted house and cant talk right now"
Had a girl on COP at WDW jump up and run out the entrance to take a call then walk back in just as the building started to move. This caused an E stop and we were off one scene the whole show.
Stand in line next to me and yap the whole time which is irratating as hell.
text messeges incoming and outgoing in movies and shows.

I used to tell my ex wives son to leave his in the car and even asked my bud Disney Joe to leave his in the car at DL.

Sorry for such a long rant but this thread means I didnt need to start my own since this has been bugging me and I felt I needed to vent.

The biggest jackasses on cell phones by the way are: people who use them in public restrooms. people must really feel important when someone calls them and the only time they can find to call is when they are sitting on the shitter. If i hear someone on a cell in the publics I flush the toilet a lot and make loud grunting noises. Sometimes ill cuss real loud and say "I shouldnt have drank all that jack last night"
