It does seem strange for a fastpass on that type of attraction! when we went, we walked in and stood in line for a few minutes. Some fastpassers came in behind us and kept trying to go over the railing to get in the exit area. Duhhh!!bpgstudios wrote:AHHHHH the joys of Fastpass at shows
We have the opposite here at Philhar. People think the FP times are the show times. Nope... shows run every 10 minutes so you can come back anytime between your FP time and the most you'll be waiting is 10 minutes.
IMO we shouldn't have fastpass at Philhar. We don;t have space for any more extended queue in the carrousel/philhar bottleneck and without fastpass the queue wont extend any further than the wait time sign. We seat about 500 per show, so the standard FP ratio works out well but without those people in FP and having them in the standby line we could keep it moving and prevent congestion in that bottleneck.
Same thing at Wishes ropes hhsrat, "Why does he get to cross the ropes*pointing to a skyshow or fireworks CM*?" Because if he didn't we'd have no fireworks showEven other CMs (no offense but custodial and merch are the worst offenders, sorry) complain and try to hop the ropes.
PS: Good luck to anyone working PAC over the next few nights, we're gonna need it!

Used to have that problem a LOT at Fant! during the busy season. Of course, the ampitheatre is over 8000 seats, and in the dark, so they'll NEVER have a prayer of finding their family once the show starts. And they'll end up standing in the back of the house, which they can't do for safety reasons. On busy days we basically packed the house anyway, and made everyone give up any seats they were saving.hhsrat wrote:SG: But my family is in there, and they're saving me a seat.
Me: I have 5,000 seats in this stadium. I have 5,000 people in this stadium. So, for every seat they're trying to save, there's someone in there that's standing up, and can't find a seat because you chose to split up your party.

LOL at least you can stand there and pretend to direct the fireworks. Donnie still mentions that when every we see a shot of them online or tv.. LOL What was funnier later that week when I saw a bunch of custodial doing the same thing.bpgstudios wrote:AHHHHH the joys of Fastpass at shows

I still like to direct the fireworks. I went over to see the Harlem Gospel Choir during the holidays, and while we were waiting to go into the theatre, Fant! was just ending. I was out there doing Mickey's part. A couple of guests were looking at me like I was nuts, and I think my family wanted to run away and write me out of the will. Old habits die hard!

Hey, that seems like "added magic" that way people can see what they missed!Theme Park Where wrote:I still like to direct the fireworks.
