I'm assuming it is going to be part of the Harry Potter area to be built over at Universal's Islands of Adventure.

Coool. Although that will goof up our vacation planning. We usually go to WDW and stay on-site, mostly to take advantage of the professional transportation system within WDW!!

Now we will have to plan a Second trip to Flordia with a second destination!

Does anyone know when the Harry Potter land at IOA is supposed to open?

I visited IOA last week on my annual WDW pilgramage after having skipped the Universal parks the last couple of years. That place really needs some new attractions and both parks have far too many things shut down. I will miss the Sinbad stunt show though--this is probably the last time I'll get to see it. :(

I don't remember seeing Cinderella's Castle looking that nice last December, though there was a lot of plussing with Christmas decorations all around MK and Disney property (particularly GF). The big trees with the fake presents were a nice touch.

Epcot's Holiday IllumiNations was particularly powerful; let's just say that, for me, it was extremely dusty in the park both times I saw it :o:

BTW, Cinderella Castle uses forced perspective, which I don't think is used at Sleeping Beauty Castle (haven't been there, so I can't compare). I learned this on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour.

(*won't ruin the magic by revealing more that I learned on that tour*)

Went on the same one, espically like the christmas tree warehouse where the trees came apart for storage! (the BIG ones)

The other one that has awesome production quality is Poseidon's Fury. Loved that... I'd love to be the actor that does that.

When I saw those photos I told my wife I will be taking the tripod and storing it in a locker at least one night! I also need to figure out how to take my dslr and video camera on this trip.

Thanks for the sneak peak!

Me personally, I prefer sleeping beauty's castle, it's more humble and less showy. Cinderella just HAS to point out her popularity...
