Here is some Disney trivia for you.
which park's castle design is based on Neuschwanstein Castle in
Bavaria? hint, it was built by King Ludwig II, and also appeared
in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? err, the castle, not the king...

Both of those pictures just made the little girl inside of me go "oooooooooh!" Those decorators did nice work. And to all the people who had to crawl around castles to make it work:
Thanks bunches!

Just for information purposes:
Sleeping Beauty Castle is 75 feet high.
Cinderella Castle is 189 feet high.
So Cinderella Castle is 2.52 times taller than Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Which is why many people who have been to WDW multiple times, when they get onto Main Street in Disneyland the first time, say "Where's the Castle?"

OOOOOOOOO....AAAHHHHH PRETTY
Interesting trivia Chessie. I am so bummed now I wont be able to see Cindy's. Regarding corey's question....I would say Aurora's but Cindy's also has elements of it. I have a huge Puzz 3-D sitting a few feet from me to compare it too....LOL

Cinderella Castle!
Your question is opposite of the cover question of
The Walt Disney World Trivia Book, which asks what real-life castle was one of inspirations of Cinderella Castle. I thought that was the right answer and a quick look at the book confirmed it.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

I saw Cinderella Castle the first time while they were getting everything ready to go. That lighting system is so amazing... it's very elegant... Although, being a (forever) stage lighting guy, I like the concert-lighting feel of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Can't wait to see Hogwartz.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
