Thank you and from I read and have heard that is what the general rule of thumb is. If there is no warnings then tape away.bpgstudios wrote:Not entirely true here at WDW atleast. Philharmagic has no video restrictions, but there is the no flash rule. There are no posted signs (or audio warnings) at Peter Pan's Flight warning against flash pictures, but some CMs do try to enforce a no flash rule.
Okay, do I take the obvious opening here? If I don't someone will. So I will say what must be said.darph nader wrote:note to self,NO flashing during HISTA
Thank you for being a volunteer. Please post pictures of you doing that.Big Wallaby wrote:Okay, do I take the obvious opening here? If I don't someone will. So I will say what must be said.
If you do that, do they then call it "Honey, I Shrunk The <CENSORED>?
and Country Bear Jamboree, in the end scene.Big Wallaby wrote:Now at some attractions, they invite you to take pictures (yes, even with a flash) and video, like the Festival of the Lion King.
I saw some pics on a thread on board X and it was obvious use of flash on POTC. That would annoy the crap out of me. I took pics, but turned off the display and used my 50mm f/1.8 (lowest aperture lens I own) and I was only happy with 1, maybe 2 pics I took.leftcoaster wrote:and Country Bear Jamboree, in the end scene.
Flash pictures also ruin the magic for other guests. While you might have ridden POTC for the millionth time, there might be one guest in your boat that has never ridden it.
Agreed.ktulu wrote:I saw some pics on a thread on board X and it was obvious use of flash on POTC. That would annoy the crap out of me. I took pics, but turned off the display and used my 50mm f/1.8 (lowest aperture lens I own) and I was only happy with 1, maybe 2 pics I took.
I think I was at 1600, but I just have the Rebel XTi. My wife won't sign off on a Mark III yet :)leftcoaster wrote:Agreed.
On our last trip, we were backed up for about 20 seconds right in front of the last scene with Jack Sparrow. You would have thought that Paris Hilton and Lindsay Blowhan were standing there completely naked or something from all the flashes.
I just shook my head, and used 1200 ISO with the 1.8 apature on my D70s.
Usually anything above 1200 gets a little noisy, but it depends on your camera.ktulu wrote:I think I was at 1600, but I just have the Rebel XTi. My wife won't sign off on a Mark III yet :)
