What do you suggest I should have done with her, stay inside and hide? Pumping can be a hassle, and most of the time the milk from pumping is frozen for a time when the mother is not present.
I am not saying that women should not breast feed at all. And pumping is not that big of a hastle. I have dated MANY woman with new borns and me and my fiance are about to have our first. They would pump some milk and yes freez some for later. Then when they were going out for a while, they would grab some bottles and put them in the bag. When the baby was hungry, they would feed from the bottle.

As for your child that wouldn't take a bottle till she was 9 months old. I don't think a baby under that age of 12 months should not be in a crowed theme park, and don't hand me any of that "It' stheir first trip to Disney..." crap. they wont remember anything and will prob cry the whole time.

No mater how you or anyone sugar coats it. it is still wrong for a woman to just flop her tits out for all the world to see while a baby is sucking and drolling all over them. It's gross.

I don't have a problem with women that cover up and try to hide it. But sicne there are alot of women that don't, then there should be a law for it. Along the same lines of not allowed to change dippers in public.

Nothing anyone says will change my view on this.

You don't see me just flopping my balls out for freash air.

New Mouse, I am glad to hear that you know so much about kids by dating people who have had them. My daughters were older that 12 months the first time we went to DLR. Maybe when you have to stick something to your boob and sit there until you had extracted all the milk your opinion may change. My point is that a mother shouldn't have to pump.

Yes, women who totally expose themself while breastfeeding needs some etiquette help. Once you have your own baby you (& your finace) will see that it is tiresome to go to the few places in the park that offers a private place to breastfeed. Why should she, or any woman, have to isolate herself for her family in order to do this?

Theme parks have many interesting things to see, look at something else. I don't want to see poeple with their underwear sticking out of their pants or women's bodies half exposed, but when you go someplace as big a a theme park you might see something like this. We can't make laws to regulate decency, that is a parents job.

I have never stated that people should change be able to change their kids in public. I don't want to see or smell that stuff either.

AH, but there ARE laws for that exact thing.

Dating women who have kids, and helping to raise them is no different then having kids of your own. You still experaince the same things.

So there are laws against talking during attraction (common decency), laws for saying please and thank you, saying sorry or excuse me when you bump into each other, and laws about treating others as you would like to be treated. This needs to be taught at home. I am sorry I wasn't clear enough, but I am talking about dealing with others with common decency not laws like public drunkness and nudity.

As I said, I am glad you learned so much, I know that it will be helpful.

I've always held the opinion that women should be able to breast-feed when needed.

But the a few weeks ago we went to Islands of Adventure (Universal Orlando) and were waiting for a table for lunch at Mythos and there, right in the lobby, was a lady, tit out, baby attached to it. No attempts to cover up or anything.

That's when I decided that I still stick to my original opinion, but that in public places a little decency would be nice. Like putting a small towel over her shoulder, like I've seen done.

As we were being seated, the hostess asked if we had been there before and we said "yes, but we hadn't seen breast-feeding in the lobby before", she smiled, shrugged and said "I knoooow..."

And going back to the topic, I had a party of 4 people behind me discussing every single detail while riding Pirates. It bothered me because I enjoy the dialog and music but the guy looked like he could kick my ass, so I didn't say anything. :fozzie:

Yes there are. Unfortunately for you, the laws that do exist protect a woman's right to breastfeed in public.

I'll defend your right to be unhappy about this, but you might want to work on accepting it.

Well, I got news.... If I am walking in public and I see some woman with her tit hanging out and no attempt to cover it up, I will say something to her. Expecialy when my kids get old enought to ask questions like "Daddy why is that lady got her breast haning out?" "Well,(daughter), she wasn't raised to know right from wrong and so she just does as she wants. I hope when you grow up and have children, you know better then to flash your breast in public."

I fail to see your arguement. As long as she isn't flapping her boobs all over the place in a sexual manner, why on earth should she have to meet your standards of whats right or wrong? Besides, kids learn about these things in grade 4 and 5. A boob is a boob and if my child asks, I wouldn't bullshit them.

I was waiting by the kennels for a sign-in and noticed a woman near one of the Monorail beam planters. She had to feed and was very, very discreet about it. Most of the nursing mums I've seen on property have been just as discreet. I don't know what the big deal is. Back to biology 101, but the main function of the female breast is for feeding and there are laws to support that. Civilization will not come to an end, the skys will not bring forth lightning and Walt will not roll over in his grave if someone has to feed her baby on property. I have yet to see any woman in public who doesn't cover up somehow, more for her personal modesty than for someone else's sense of propriety.

How about finding something a little more obscene than feeding a baby to fume over?

Becasue no mater how you coat it, it's still indecent exposure.
