They probably thought that was rude and inconsiderate of you, breaking up their 'happy' time.
Of course had I been there I'd have yelled "WTF are you doing", but that's just me.

For those of you who haven't been to WDW, I work at The Great Movie Ride at MGM. In the preshow we have many loops to open and close (basically lenghthening and shortening the line) as the line(s) change. Today I was at both positions (head usher at the top and casting director at the bottom) in the preshow. All the handrails in the preshow are made of metal and very very dense wood. during the day the line grew longer and shorter at least 3 times while I was in either position. When the kids who enter the preshow see no one in the preshow they run underneath the handrails all the way to the bottom. Most of the time I just yell for them to stop with the parents glaring at me like I did something wrong. Today, I had 3 kids do just that and this time they all hit their heads on the wooden handrails all as I was telling them not to run under the handrails. As the parents try and comfort the kids, they all asked me why I didn't tell them to stop it before they hurt themselves. I simply replied: I'm not their one of their parents. You shouldn't have let them in the first place... Ok not really, but I really really wanted to!!!!!!!!

Sorry this is so long.

Similar things occur at carrousel and small world. Small world is a bit more understandable because the new entrance. People hop the chains early morning or late night down by the routunda. Carrousel though I have to resort to calling them on their actions and giving warnings. I had a dad and kid hop the chain right before I started the ride, they hopped on horses, and I approached them saying that they shouldn't hop chains anywhere in Disney World, and next time they did it they could be seriously injured or thrown out of the park. They were like "Why not? We did it this time and it was fine." I asked them to leave the carrousel.

Oh, I would like to add, cones too!! Earlier today in the parking lot of DTD, a guest had their young son get out of the truck and move cones so they could be lazy and take a short cut to exit out. That just pissed me off roght then and there!!

Another Time I was waiting in lie to ride space in the concourse area(before I knew everyone that works there) And one of my friends who was working that day saw me and came running over. While She tried to jump one of the chains her foot cought and she bit the dust faster than an American Idol career.

So, today, I was in the park with a friend tonight in the Stroller Parking Area outside of Buzz Lightyear when I saw a father with a child on his shoulders step over the chains of the fastpass entrance. The greeter came from Fastpass Distribution and told the father to NOT go over the chains, but he protested that he has a fastpass. next thing you know, as he us going over the chain, WITH THE CHILD ON HIS SHOULDERS, his foot got caught in the chains and he eats it along with his child. I heard as he hit the ground, his child's head hit the nearby trash can!!

I thought to myself, "YESSSSSSSSSS!!! He got what he deserved!!!" ;)

Yep he did - but that poor child didn't! As if he doesn't have enough problems with a father like that . . .

The thing is the Greeter asked the father if he and his child would want to go to CFA like 20 times, but he refused, so she called the Lead.
