Reminds me of a time when Mr. Syndrome and I were at some roller coaster event at some obscure little amusement park. Part of the deal was that we could get unlimited soda. We were standing in line for the roller coaster, and a group of pre-teen boys was in front of us. Once of them kept jostling and bumping me. The death glare didn't work, "Excuse me" didn't work...I don't know if he was an idiot, thought it was impressing his friends or what, but it went on for like 20 minutes (it was a freakin' hour line). I had a full cup of Coke, and, well....funny how it worked out that the next time he jostled me, it caused me to spill that entire Coke right down the front of his shirt. Oops! Just couldn't help it, he bumped me and it just happened to all spill in that direction. :twisted: He didn't say one word; as a matter of fact, he and his buddies left the line posthaste! Too bad, as I was really hoping that he'd try to mouth off about it but I think he knew better...you don't want to go any farther with a woman who would give you a "Coke bath."

The refill must have tasted particularly good. :D:

Okay, y'all ain't gonna belive this one:

This morning I was again getting coffee at the same Espresso stand. I wasn't thinking about the previous incident because frankly, I hadn't yet had my first cup.

As I picked up my coffee and turned to leave, who should walk up and block my way? That's right, stupid backpack man!

Not really having any great desire to repeat myself -- or explain myself -- I cleared my throat and said, "Excuse me," in what I hoped was a voice that would not remind him of anything.

"Oh, certainly," he replied cheerfully, and practically leapt out of my way.

Yes! I thought, they *can* be taught! :D:

Maybe he was there for the Unlimited Refill if you know what I mean.

Of course he jumped out of the way. Next time, Zazu might have given him a new coffee conditioner for his hair. Let's hope this guy has learned his lesson. ;)
