that's the stroller (blue with white stuff on it)! I remember seeing that and thinking I should ask here how often that happened. so....
how often are strollers abandoned in the parking structure?

I don't think this is relevent but... I was on the tram one day with some friends and one of the CM's said we're on the way back to Mickey and Friend's blah blah and said "but i can't say what the we cast members call Mickey and Friends Parking Structure." So what do we call it? Besides that it was fun. I think the CM used to be on the Jungle Cruise or something because he was cracking jokes and having a fun time. Of course, nobody on the tram got what was going on (as usual) nor did they seem to enjoy his humor but I had a great time.
I can't image the amount of woes you have to face. I'm surprised you don't go around running over people with the tram

I guess that would be the advantage of the old parking lot.

MURF!! What are you talking about? We dont have one of the highest turnaround rates...we get all the A status "30 year people" who want to be lazy...remember??? I was complaining about them earlier today? weren't you there when i was talking to Mike in security about them before i started...no..nevermind...i think i saw you when i was talking to him later...sorry...got off track...by the way...yes...strollers are always getting left...go down to our parking central by the clocks in the BCML lot and check it out...we usually have 3 or 4 strollers sitting there...or by Lost and Found...haha...people are so dumb sometimes...ive seen people mentioning the fact that guests "check their brains in when they get to dland"...that's because it's the Disneyland "resort"...when you go to a resort you check your bags in...well...they keep any bags they bring so they have to check something in... :D: oh and the rt (CM on the back of the tram) that somebody talking about that may have been on jungle cruise...that is probably Bobby M... and he has never been on jungle cruise...hired in to parking and he's never leaving...and he is just about the funniest guy i have ever met and if you liked him i'm sure he would be very happy to know

See the thing is Monkeybabe...
First all of the lifers came from inside the park and they know they got it easy in our dept. That being said have you counted the Farewell cards in the front of the breakroom in the last 6 months? those are only the people that have been around for more than 2-3 years! I've seen over 50-60 come and go over the past two alone! While most go into the parks or hotels alot just leave and work somewhere else!

yeah youre right about the amount of people leaving our dept...but we still dont have nearly enough people to have one of the highest turnarounds in the park...plus...dont tell people to come to us...we have too many newbies coming in as it is...they are really nice...but they are taking out OT hours :D:

(yes... I'm still alive everyone)
To touch on a few things here...
Oh man... the parking structure. I try so hard to stay away. ;) The escalators never function properly. It's the saddest thing. You'd be surprised at how often maintnence is working on them. If you're not on 5/6, then you can always get around the not working ones by going up to a level above you and then walking down the stairs... way easier then waiting for the elevator.
We like to call the parking structure "the bastille" cause it's a giant dungeon.
People CANNOT figure out what "no more boarding" means. It's pointless to let it get you all flustered as a parking lot cast member on the trams. I just stand there and repeat myself over.. and over.. and over "no more boarding please.. please stand behind the yellow line... if you havn't crossed the yellow line yet... do not do so... no more boarding... do not pass go... do not collect $200"
As far as the misdirected parking? You should see what happens when one of the ever so smart guests manages to cut through a cone line... chaos.
