Hope you all have Happy Holidays whatever you're celebrating and boldly go all kinds of cool new places in 2010!

(sorry I haven't been around much, my eyes severely limit my computer time these days or there are consequences...and having to not wear the contacts and semi-normal glasses and wearing these instead is among them- (yes these are my real glasses)

Sorry Honda, I am always afraid to post pics that are too big.

It's USS Voyager and USS Defiant in ornament form.

Happy Holidays!

Hehe, you aren't the only one I know with Star Trek stuff on tree ;)
Too bad you couldn't see the Star Trek Experience they've had in Hollywood lately (but I couldn't either :( Hubby likes to get the heck out of there as soon as possible after we've bought Soda Fountain Pins)

I remember when Hallmark first started coming out with the Star Trek christmas ornaments, back in 1991 for Star Treks 25th Anniversary. It was the original series Enterprise.

I had just started getting into Star Trek that summer, and I thought with my family being Hallmark ornament collectors, that this was simply awesome and was going to happen. However, my father just thought it was a phase I was going through, and didn't want to buy the ornament.

Fast Forward a year, and the new price guides come out, and my mom smacks my dad with it. That ornament jumped in value to over a hundred bucks.

He stuck to his guns, despite the costumes, the conventions, the charity work I did before branching out to other areas of science fiction, but finally broke down after he realized the family was getting every OTHER Star Trek ship ornament made since then, and picked it up ten years later, still in the hundred dollar range.

Well the Bru Fairy ornament that Disneymom sent Bru is bigger than Voyager too. Don't mess with no fairies!
