WDW be warned

Post by lady ulrike » Fri Nov 20, 2009 10:39 pm

Looks like me and the munchkin will be making it out there. I've posted about my possible trips several times, so I waited until this one was for sure. Room is booked, plane tickets bought and I've got the time off work. I will be arriving early Nov 28th and leaving VERY early Dec 6th. I'm traveling with other people, and they have a pretty set plan. I will mostly be doing whatever they do although I am sure I will veer off from time to time. So, if anyone wants to be found let me know. I'm going to the Christmas Party, several times, so if anyone who wants to be found is working any of those in this time period, there's a decent chance I'll be at it.

Yay! It will be fun having you here.

Pretty sure you know where to find me. Little Wallaby and I have to have you over for dinner while you are here.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I'm sure I can give up one dinner for that. Although I'm not sure which one....the group I'm traveling with has priority seating for all kinds of restaurants. Including some that I've heard are good and lots of fun (they're mostly character dining) like Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare. :)

btw, does anyone know if Disneyland CMs get free stroller rentals at WDW? The airline wants to charge me a checked bag fee for my stroller, so I think I'm going to rent one there, if it's free....if not, I'll buy one at Wal-Mart or something out there and then just leave it with the family I know, or if anyone here lives in the orlando area and knows someone who will be needing a stroller soon, I could leave it with them. :)

How many people would be in the group?

Ill be working that day. Stop by at the entrance of GMR and ask for my show. I'll be more than happy to do a show for you all.

Which day? I put a span of days on there, you know? :) We're supposed to be at DHS on the 29th and the 3rd. I'm not sure exactly how many. The family is 3 or 4 depending on who's with the group at any point in time, then there's me and the munchkin, and another friend, and then our VIP tour guide. Oh yeah, you guys are totally jealous now, aren't you? Ok, so you're probably not, but I'm excited to meet him cause they get the same tour guide every year and I've heard a lot about him. I'm really just along for the ride, and it will be a very character/show heavy trip (in fact, those of you who have been in entertainment probably know the family I'm going with) but I will sneak away at various points. They apparently even have a van to drive us around on property, so I'm not sure how many monorail trips I'll get in, but I will definitely get in at least one.

YEAH! It'll be great to see you two again. My days off are Tuesday and Wednesday and I'm off most days around 19:30. You have my number, give me a call and we can meet up.

Not sure but I regularly see Strollers cast and I'll try to remember to ask one of them about that tomorrow while at work (try's the key word, as my memory is like a sieve).

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Looks like CMs are blocked our first day there anyway, so I will talk to them then and see....it's just not cost effective to pay $40 to get my stroller there when I can buy one for $20 or rent one for free (well, I'll have to pay for it or go without one day)
