Rusty cutlass

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I love the Rusty Cutlass group. I know a few of the members, the tall pirate on the right is with the Dapper Dans normally and the one next to him (with the false beard hanging around his neck) hangs out with Fire Chief Smokey Miller on Main Street normally.

They perform during the Christmas Parties across from the POTC.

I recognized the name -- from reading the program from VM's Fall Shows! Ken Thiboult, the Dapper Dan in green in my avatar, is a member. I'm pretty sure he's the guy on the left in the video. One line in his bio says, "Besides entertaining with the Dappers, Ken performs with Rusty Cutlass, an Irish Pirate band that has been invading festivals along the Eastern seaboard for years."

OT a bit, but you may get a kick from the last lines from each of their bios in the program:
Tenor Aaron Stratton: "Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, singing in church, and reciting original poetry on the steps of the Orange County Courthouse on Thursday mornings."

Lead Ken Thiboult: "Ken enjoys being with his family, camping, and in 1982 was the first runner up in the International 'I can dress myself!' Contest."

Bass Kevin Miles: "In his spare time, Kevin also enjoys audio production, fly fishing, and yodeling at birds."

Baritone Roger Ross: "Some things Roger enjoys are spending time with family and friends, singing with his new quartet, Lucky Day, and adding weird statements to the end of quartet bios." :D:
They also performed during Pirates and Princesses parties. We sang along with them. It was the highlight of our party night. (other than the Magic, Music and Mayhem fireworks, they were the BEST!)

It is. I thought so and when I was working in Uptown today the Dans came in to perform he was one of the m and I could tell for sure it was.
