I did build a couple of raids with some WD's and so far...no problem.

I just needed to rebuild a server that had a raid 5 array with all WD disks, lost 2 disks in the array within 6 hours.
Could have been prevented if the old IT guy called the customer when he got the first failure notification. Thats why they are my customer now.
Thank god for backups although it would have been nice if the backup had done system state too instead of just the SQL database. Now they have raid 5 with seagate enterprise drives and a backup that includes system state, SQL database and user data.
