that might work better, i was thinking along the lines of someplace where we could be forgien and take a picture in front of the castle with ease, but still be out of the way and not look too mobbish. I'll probly be arriving with the indy crew, and my friend.

Re: MEET DETAILS

Polar33 wrote:Well, according to weather.com rain is predicted tomorrow afternoon. The newly rehabed Fantasia Gardens (old moterboat cruise) area has plenty of cover to keep us dry if that does happen. Plus, it's a reasonably secluded spot, so it will be easier to find each other. Meet time will be 9:45, to allow for anyone who will be arriving to the Holiday party late to be able to join us. Be aware, that if the parade runs like it did tonight, that it may be ending at around that time, so plan accordingly. Although, I'm sure we'll be sticking around for a while in case anyone does get stuck in parade traffic.
ok so 2145/945 over in Fantasia Gardens area.. sounds good..

question though.. this being my first Cast Holiday party.. hubby & I were planning to eat beforehand. Should we eat before the party or wait as there will be foodage at the park?? Did anyone attend for the 6th? and what food offerings were there?? I don't mind churros.. but if it's hotdogs sorry.. gonna eat early. *grin*

Also.. if you went, did you come early and get 'kicked out' or were shuffled off to the side to wait for attmittance like some of those early birds I heard about that were there for the Haunted Mansion Holiday event?? thanks... sorry to sound anal, I just wondered. (hubby wants to see the fireworks before the party). =)

There are food places open. Not everyone, but enough for some variety. Also the churros are cheap, $1.75, I think. And food is discounted 35% off everywhere for everyone. I don't know about coming early since I worked until normal park closing.

Cannot get in early. The park has a hard close at exactly 6pm. EVERYTHING closes, even main street. Not sure about the food. But there will be a parade and fireworks for the party so you dont have to come early to see the 530(?) show.

On PLOA till March, waiting out my time to return as a Space Ranger (Space, not Buzz)

Where were you people!!!

"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

I was at home. I didn't have tickets for last night, had 'em for Monday night cause I had an early final this morning. I would've been there if I could've.

i showed up a bit late, almost 10, so like 9 50ish, Stduck, and legodan were there with meekobiscut, and i wanna say crashyoda, i think i just buthchered their names, sorry, and i had a freind with me that works in a hospital, i don't know that she realized that we were all a bunch of people who talked to eachother online, and had never met before, but anyway the six of us were gathered at the entrance, and we were pretty sure we saw you and polar leave, if that was the two of you seated way back in the back. I didn't dare go towards the back, that dark water bussiness scares me, but i suppose i might have been more condusive to gathering. i dunno. Anyway, i went on the matterhorn with duck(so didn't have the chance to get my butt stuck in the gates, i will continue to try) and lost 5 balls. don't really like ths trobes on the last snowman, and was really dissappointed that i missed the first one (either my eyes were closed, or he doesn't light up anymore.)

The first one is just his eyes, and he doesn't light up. I think they're trying to fix it, but not 100% sure.

hee hee! biscuit meeko... i have about 3 or 4 so I get mixed up and hubby is SeanYoda... so yeah just outed myself to about like 2 people on here (who already know me anyway from IRL and other boards... so it's not too much of a revelation there!)

Actually Cujo... we were wondering where YOU & Polar were... weren't you supposed to be hosting this thing?? *VBG*

When we split up SeanYoda & I went to get photo with Stitch! He liked my hat, btw... and I'm looking forward to the photo. We rode Mansion, Pirates, and Jungle in no particular order... ran into some friends, had hot chocolate & went home... (oh and dinner at Rancho was great so thanks for the food info!) We were too full for churros or the pretzels hubby likes stuffed with stuff. Still, it was good... wet & cold, but still good. Yeah. (' :) ')
