I have been putting people into and out of hypnosis for the past few weeks with awesome success, getting back on top of my game... used to do some stuff back in Portland.
Anyone want to try it out?
I am looking for vict... sorry, um... volunteers to practice on. If you have an imagination and want to try it out, let me know! It will be fun!
Could you suggest to my daughter that she doesn't like chocolate anymore ? (asking the day before Halloween!)

She has to want it to happen. Actually, part of why smoking and weight loss hypnosis won't work in many cases is that the client is not almost literally crawling to the hypnotist pleading. Once they are like that, if you do the pretalk correctly and they agree... their success is almost guaranteed.

We will have to give it a shot in December. Although at my after grad party in June we had a hypnotist and it didn't work with me. But it worked great on others!

A lot of stage hypnotists get by with the minimum they can... but the thing is, if they perform and have the right charisma, it don't matter.
That's not to say the guy you had was bad... even the best don't have 100% success with stage.
Just an update, I have actually started my next step of training early. A year from now, I will be a Certified Hypnotherapist. And I'll probably get a stage thing going as well.

Well, you definitely have the charisma for it. :) Good luck on your certification - you will be good at it.

Haha, I'd volunteer for you to try hypnotizing, but that last thing anybody needs is for someone to lower the amount of control my consciousness has over any part of my subconsciousness. Bad things would happen, and we might both get wrote up for a safety violation.

Stupidity is not a handicap, stand elsewhere.

I love the misconceptions surrounding hypnosis...

Hmm, I know I said I can't be hypnotized, but now that I think about it there has been one thing that has been doing a wonderful job of it the past few months, the tails on my characters in World of Warcraft. Tails in WoW are so hypnotic; maybe you can hypnotize me if you use yours, although I still can't say it would be a good idea. ;)
