LittleWallaby/Rex is coming to town

Post by Rex » Wed Oct 28, 2009 11:14 am

So, some time during December (hopefully), I will be flying to Orlando, and be in Orlando for about 10 days.

Since BigWallaby, and Mrs. BigWallaby aren't always going to be home, I'm going to have some free time which I have to spend somehow.

Are their any recommendations for excellent timewasters in the parks? Any fun tidbits of information, secrets ( , preferably) or things that I just have to see or do? I'm not above doing childish, immature things such as It's A Small World or Mad Tea Party.

With that tidbit, what shall I do?

Perhaps I could see how many times I can ride one of the monorails in a loop before I get weird looks? Or perhaps head to Ferryboat landing, and just hop on a ferry and not get off? Maybe the Walt Disney World Railroad?

From experience, it takes quite a long time before you are noticed on either of those unless you sit in the jumpseat on the back of the train.

The TTA is good for long rides during non-busy times. I've even seen people laying down and taking a nap. Good time waster there.

Hey Rex, what airline do you fly out of PDX, and is it a direct flight? Just curious, since most of my family is in the Portland/Vancouver area.

Best way to kill time in the parks, presuming you've done enough of the conventional attractions, is to check out the Streetmosphere characters. Folks like Scoop Sanders on Main Street, the movie producers at the Studios, World Showcase players at Epcot, and Wes Palm at Animal Kingdom can keep you entertained for hours.

The best and most detailed schedule available is online at http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/. I don't know where he gets his data, but I've seen printouts behind the desk at City Hall!

Here's an idea if you get 'really' bored. (thanks to my sons)
#1. When you order your food at a resturant, ask for a diet water.
#2. At a fast foof drive thru, tell them the order is 'to go'.
#3. Use the ATM and when the money comes out, yell "I Won, I Won".
#4. As you exit AK,run towards the parking-lot screaming,"Run for your lives, they've broken out of their cages".

Beer....The reason I get up every,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,afternoon.

Just for the record, I am Big Wallaby. With a space. Mrs. Big Wallaby is known around these parts as Little Wallaby. I will explain more about why this is important when you are here.

And if anyone's going to get after me for giving my brother an ass chewing, don't worry. He's still got one cheek left. :D:

Oh, and I didn't mean it as hard as it came out.

Now, with that said, onto my advice.

Go play in the parks. Do the attractions, and get to know the place. Then, I'll start showing you nuance and other things.

Did you go into the parks last time you came to visit me?

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I think I can handle this explanation: Rex != Big Wallaby's wife, thus Rex != Little Wallaby unless something has gone terribly, terribly wrong.

I'm asking for advice to see the stuff I haven't been to already.

Mr. Big (insert 20 spaces here) Wallaby: don't you dare try to get me to drink Beverly again. :punchbag:

No. Just no. I'm his brother. Brother means boy. Not girl. :D:

Being a Cast Member and all, I am much more worried about us being related than the same gender.

Just sayin'.
