I've become a Cast Member!!!!

I live too far away to work at any of the parks. So I did the next best thing, I applied for work at my local Disney Store. I'm starting out as a seasonal part-time CM. (I also have a regular 8-5 full time job.) Hopefully, I can make it past the holiday season to be a permanent part-time CM.

It may not be as good as working in the parks, but it'll do for now.

Congratulations!

It's been 20 years since I was a store CM (my goodness how is that possible? I was such a baby then *sniff*) but it's still the only job I've ever had that I really miss. (I live too far away from the parks to work in them either even if I was healthy enough. If I was you can bet I'd relocate!)

Have fun bringing pixie dust to your guests. It's a job like no other, even in the stores, it's special. Like most things in life, it is as you make it. (That's what our Traditions trainer told us).
