The biggest problem is where would it stop. White with red polka-dots (Minnie). Yellow/Orange/black (Mickey) . Or have large ears on the top?? I agree, too weird for monorails.
Buses, on the other hand, could use a bit of personalization. I think there should be enough characters to go around, especially now that we have the Marvel team to draw from as well.

Yup, some even have fond mem'ries of them days, but I only seen picshures.
