I really doubt the kids having health issues and all - even with all the takes. I eat my fair share of "fast food" and am perfectly healthy. Moreso than fellow friends who eat out on a regular basis. All one needs is to watch portions, exercise regularly (and I get PLENTY with my job) and all is well.
And in each take, it's about a bite or two - I doubt, due to child labor laws and such they would take more than a certain amounts of takes. No more bites of food than one would have at a average meal.

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

well, compared to eating McDonalds or any other greasy burger, KFC IS better for you. No different then what you might cook at home. The bottom line is, people today know fast food in general is best in moderation.
And there is NO WAY that today there would be a commercial endorsing the idea that fast food is okay for people to feed their kids all of the time.
Heck, until some years ago, it was nearly impossible to get the nutritional information from these fast food places. Now there are websites with that information.

But they do. How many times a day do you see or hear commercials saying "You just worked a hard day, don't go home and cook, stop and pick up ?????? for dinner."

When I was growing up, commercials for candy, soda, etc. were short, simply asked you to buy it, or were a little amusing story to show how good it was, and that was it. I remember the old Chiclets commercial, the little girl singing as a rain of tiny Chiclets showered down: "When it rains, it's never wet; those tiny drops are real Chiclets." I remember that little girl had a good voice; wonder where she ended up?
The one that was kind of hilarious was for Milk Duds; family has to hide when they eat them so the neighbors won't find out. (Message: So good your neighbors will raid your home to get some instead of buying their own box!) Other endearing ones were for Good and Plenty, with Choo-Choo Charlie pretending a line of chairs was a train of which he was the engineer. The M&Ms commercials were cute, too.
Today's candy commercials all but force you to go out and buy stuff; back in the day commercials were friendlier and more lowkey. Plus, they only had two or three ads per commercial break, not the half-dozen they seem to have today. There's getting to be too much advertising!
