There's a few current and former attendants on here. My brother and SIL are both seasonal character attendants. They enjoy the job for the most part but have to also deal with some of the worst SGs as characters seem to bring the worst out of some people.smart1hermione wrote:has anyone here been a character attendant? that seems like a fun job....

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…

I am currently a seasonal character attendant. It definitely is a really fun role at WDW. I love getting to interact with the characters and guests (and get the chance to work in all 4 parks).smart1hermione wrote:has anyone here been a character attendant? that seems like a fun job....

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Re: Question for Friends of Characters
Hi All,
Spent the weekend and had a great time. The shirt worked out well (didn't find fabric pens in time, so we used regular sharpies - we'll just wash in cold water). We were careful helping the pens out of the characters hands so they didn't get sharpie on them.
I realized later that the signatures were ending up in different directions because I (and the characters) couldn't tell which way was up when we put it over the book. In the end, it came out really cute and of all characters, Goofy ended up upside down. Fitting if you ask me.
Mickey, sorry for bonking you in the head as I was trying to get into the picture, but my little girl is still talking about how much she loves Mickey and Minnie!
Thanks!

Here's the back of the shirt (the first character attendant did check to see what else was on the shirt--a Wall-E and Eve image with Happy Birthday)
I have a couple other pictures in the album

Re: Question for Friends of Characters
I'd swear Mickey's heart melted when she said it. It was after the pictures and while they were signing autographs. She looked up and said "I love you, Mickey" :mickey2: clear as a bell. Mickey swooped in for a big hug after that. I just wish I knew she was going to do it. I would have LOVED to have that on video.ktulu wrote:I love the last one, I too have an Abby :)
