Very glad to hear no metastasis. Chemo just to make sure every possible remaining cancer cell gets eradicated. Hope it goes well. Different types of chemo available, for example, my grandmother took an oral form. Have you heard what plan is?

The plan for me is that on the 22nd I get a port installed by my left shoulder, and they'll be injecting the meds through that. This is all I know so far, and the doc will talk to me about the surgery/chemo on the 19th.

Yikes, Purps, I have been out of commission a couple of weeks or I'd have responded to this sooner.

So sorry to hear about the need for the chemo, but glad to hear that it hadn't spread...sending you big hugs and wishes for a quick and completely successful course of treatment. Keep us posted and vent here all you want if you need to, we're here to listen.
