Christmas parade filming date?

Have any of you CMs heard on what date the Christmas Parade will be filmed this year ? We are planning our trip in early December (2-6) and would like to see a bit of the parade filming if it is happening while we are there.

I saw this on another board a couple of weeks ago:

The Christmas parade performances are supposed to tape on Friday, Dec 4, and the parade itself on Saturday, Dec 5, with Sunday being used only if there were problems on Friday or Saturday (like weather, for instance).

Anybody know if the schedule has changed?

Aw, that's the weekend of the VM Christmas shows. So, if any of you can't make it to Florida, but can make it to Dallas... :)

We watch the Christmas parade just about every year. If they would just get rid of the 'talking' heads it would better.

gotta agree with that one. what is it they choose people that just can't seem to shut up and let us watch the parade without inane comments.

sadly, we seem to see the same thing at the Macys parade.

If I were to guess, I would say that filming will occur sometime in November.
That is always how it is with Disneyland anyway.

With WDW, they generally do the filming in Dec (usually the first week or so).

Yup, as noted above - it does. I found my little plea at bottom of this page about last years, in which the dates were the 5th and 6th of December.
