Blowing the Pixie Dust Off Disney’s Archives
GLENDALE, Calif. — For the last 50 years, inside an unmarked warehouse here, a historic movie prop has rested in a deep, deep sleep. Last month a Walt Disney Company archivist awakened it.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Such beautiful and unique treasures.....can not measure what it would be worth to quietly study them and admire their beauty. But to have to suffer and strain to see them amongst a throng of SGs......would take away from their magic :( .sigh. I certainly hope those of you going will somehow experience a miracle with people being polite and allowing everyone to quietly see.

Yeah. Encountering SGs is something that I have been concerned about. But I think that it will be alright...If not, I'll just try to stay away from them!DisneyMom wrote:Such beautiful and unique treasures.....can not measure what it would be worth to quietly study them and admire their beauty. Can't wait to see the archive collection! My only gripe is that they will not let you take photographs of the displays. If you want photos, you have to buy a $20 book (or $35 if you want a hardcover version) I guess it's akin to museum exhibt, where you buy catalogs.
