Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am a little nervious for the fire dancer. they guy behind him has a rather sharp looking stick and seems to be , umm, very near some parts that no guy want to see that close to something sharp!

After a closer look at the picture, I'd say the guy behind him is a drummer, and that sharp stick is a drumstick. And the perspective may make him seem like he's right behind him, but judging from the size of his feet sticking out from underneath that log drum, I'd say he's probably a good 3-5 feet back. I don't think he wants to be close behind a firedancer in case he has a bad night and can't toss a flaming torch right.

I don't know, that sounds like some people's idea of a good time...

Great now I've got this slapstick sequence going through my head. Fire dancer overthrows and hits the drummer, who loses control of drumstick that flies at the dancer, hitting him in an awkward spot. And they both fall over.
At least it's "mutually assured destruction".
