Dear Parents ...
Re: Dear Parents ...
so many many things I want to say!!!!! I don't know where to begin - except I'm crying a little bit, I'll tell you that right now. Bravo Mickey.
We were a wish family and fortunately, my little man is still with us and we will always and forever remember the magic we had on our wish trip. You can't know - not ever - you just can't know how affected we families are by your magic touches. They happened on our trip 2 and 3 times a day OR MORE - - things we were unprepared for.. and I think I cried every single time - just like I am now as I remember it.
The evil, heartless, self-centered so-and-so's you encounter disappear in the pixie dust because you cared enough to move them, or move us. I'm sure we had those people around us, I just don't remember them we were so involved in those moments.
So - that's what I have to say - thank you all for surrounding those precious children (and their loving families) with your presence and away from all the uncaring loudmouths.
Kev says thanks too!

gotta love ya!cheshire figment wrote:i saw a family of six getting in line at a ticket window at tl and they had on maw buttons. I know that gktw does not give them water park tickets. I just went up to the window, told the person inside to cancel the transaction in progress and had the family follow me through the gate.

I've heard of people faking it and it appears to be more common than we think. I often wonder if my two bad experiences were people faking it. These people weren't very nice to the guest who were seeing the character before they arrived.Cheshire Figment wrote:I saw a family of six getting in line at a ticket window at TL and they had on MAW buttons. Go, Mickey!!! Go, go, go, Mickey!!!
Sarah, Cheshire and others....can I just say thank you for all that you do? My family is not a MAW family, but we have met some on our last two trips. I thank the Powers That Be everyday for my healthy (although, slightly deaf) family and feel for those that aren't so lucky. The parents are usually wonderful, caring people and the kids are just too adorable for words!
Thanks again for all the magic you bring to others (and I hope to see you guys when we're down in a month. All but Cheshire Figment - sorry, buddy, I don't do the waterparks! LOL)
THANK YOU!!!!!

Re: Dear Parents ...
Sometimes I wonder about people. I wonder if they think the MAW parents somehow "enjoy" the privileges. They don't realize that 100 percent of the MAW parents would give ANYTHING to not have to be MAW parents, for their kid to be able to wait in line and do the rides like everyone else.
The characters rock for having the intestinal fortitude for not kicking the offending SG parents in the naughty bits.

I think that's just it- if I had to guess, I think the majority of people who make a scene don't realize what they are talking about (and if they changed places, they wouldn't want to be going through that).TechieSidhe wrote:Sometimes I wonder about people. Of course, in the examples listed above...

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!
