PoohBunny is on her way to Disneyland!

Post by PoohBunniesHutch » Fri Nov 19, 2004 3:14 pm

Well, tomorrow my hubby, his grade partner Laura, her hubby Joe and me are all goinng to Disneyland! I'll only be able to handle a couple of hours, so if you see me in my mercedes benz of a scooter, holler a Hi and Ill flash you a smile and a great big Thank You!

With my hip all contused and since I cannot lift my leg I'll be limited to what I can do, but the musts are Soarin, Aladdin, HMH, the choo choo, Muppets, ITTBAB and IASWH, if I last that long.

For those of you who work Pooh and IASWH, please make sure you've got a wide load wheelchair standing by as I cannot bend or lift my left leg and have to use the special wheelchair vehicles to ride. When I was there a couple of weeks ago, the only chairs they had were tight fits for a 6 year old and I caused an E-stop on pooh because I couldn't get out of the pooh vehicle-lol! Though it wasn't too funnyat the time!

Well I hope to see some of you tomorrow. I'll be wearing a black and white check dress and a minnie mouse red and white checked cap!\

TTFN!

I look foreward to possibly meeting you in person, hopefully i'll have room in the WAC for you (new term that i just made, right now, standing for wheelchair access car.) ok well have fun, and stay safe.

Of course, we rider the trains and in the WAC as that is the only way we can ride. I'll never forget the train ride where some idiot teenagers jumped the tracks and they had to offload the train at MS, of course they couldn't off load me, so we had to wait. One of the conductors gave us a slip for a soda since he couldn't leave and get us something to drink while we waited and we waited a long time, through two parades I think. It was fun, everyone thought we were celebrities sitting on the train to watch the parades!

But I've got a four wheel scooter with a leather captains chair in an oyter shell beige. I've got a beautiful longaberger purse and a nice basket on the front of the scooter. Its my mercedes benz or at least as close as I'll ever get to driving one since I can no longer drive-lol! I better be on one of your trains! Guess I'll just have to ride all of them!

I'll be at Pooh in the evening. Stop by and wave. I'll see about getting the wheelchairs right (one of ours went missing). Hope to see you!

Yeah you took over MY PLANTER with strollers. Oh my goodness we were slammed and our lead was all pissy. Its ok the other lead assured us that she was acting irrationally and we did a good job. Apparently it had been set up to run the guests back stage but they decided not to utilize it. I dunno about you guys but running guests backstage seems kind of an invasion. That's scared space (not to mention not the prettiest areas of the park)

yeah, but I know they've run 'em backstage before. But I always thought they did it last minute, like for example traffic is not moving at all, so they start redirecting backstage so traffic will move, but as long as it's moving even slowly I thought they kept them onstage. I don't work GC very often though, so I've never seen it done, just heard about it.
