You've seen the musical that Improv Everywhere staged at
Hot Dog on a Stick, right?

not unusual at all.
No, each of the "You're a Yorker" endings had an illustration, and it showed a little boy eagerly waiting for gravy to be poured on a slice of layer cake.
I noticed that the book had that if your surname is a common one--and it showed mailboxes with common York surnames--that you're a Yorker. Thing is, it didn't show our family name, and it's pretty common, too. And all those who have our surname, despite there being 36 different spellings, are related. So we were related in some way or other to like half the people in town.

I LOVE the DLR Corn Dogs! I was going to get one last time, but the draw of more rides before we had to go was too strong.
DLR corn dogs are my 2nd favorite, the BEST ones are the Fletchers Corn Dogs, which happens to have invented the corn dog and first sold them at the Texas State Fair, come on out in 9/25-10/18 and I can show you around :)

Hmm, I'm from the midwest (a Loooong time ago) we used to visit the Amana colonies and they ran a Home cooking restaurant. They would serve a potato pancake and have sausage gravy and/or syrup for your dining pleasure!

DM, you have never flown nor tried DLR Corn Dog? OMG!

You must live under part of darph's rock. ;) DLR Corn dogs are more than "The Best!" After just 2 bites you are hooked for
life. & yes, I am serious. You MUST go get one next trip to DL. Think I'd even meet you if there was a DLR Corn Dog involved. :) Nearest Hot On A Stick to me seems to be Brea. Will check Main Place. Would be lovely if there was one near Nordstroms.

Isn't Amana Colony in Iowa? Thought they made refrigeration units & knit sweaters. Ya, I know, odd spectrums. A gal from Iowa used to bring sweaters & coats back from Amana, Iowa after her vacations. Somehow... a vacation in Iowa with the corn doesn't call my name.

Potato pancakes are an Irish tradition - so my grandpa told me. Mass then potato pancakes. I could live on potato pancakes with melting butter & a coke. :)

Darph and I think that under the rock is a nice, safe, happy place!

Will venture out for corn dogs, though! :D:
Working on getting that Emporium pin, MS. ;)
