CM handbook

Post by Honda Enoch » Sun Aug 16, 2009 8:49 pm

Anyone know where I could see the basics of the Disney CM handbook?

Don't need all the details for each attraction, just the basics every CM has to read and know.

TIA

Hell,I'm not a CM but I have a pretty good idea.
Page 1, 'try' not to piss off the guests. :D:
Page 2, 'try' not to let the rides go 101.
Page 3, NO alcohol in the CM parking lot. (unless you invite the 'suits')
Page 4, 'suggestive' selling. ;)
Page 5, No "You are #1" salutes.

Don't know if a request like that would fall into this category...but keep in mind we have to be careful with requests like these that can get CMs and this site in trouble (if they follow through with any request to get "cast only" information to non-cast via this fourm)

I'm not in attractions, but I'm pretty sure that everything is picked up as you go... you are taught the specifics needed to do your job, and everything else you just pick up as time goes by. I don't think that there is some master book of Disney facts that CMs have to know. I'm also pretty sure that the less you know about other departments, the happier you are.

Oh I am sorry I should have said I do not wish to get anyone in trouble. I am not looking for cast only info. just if anyone knew of a site that had the general basics. but I think I found one. Disney's own site has the following.

Even though that link is from the WDWCP site most or all of it applies to all the CM's. The "Disney Look", costumes, ID's, etc.

SG who are pulling stupid stunts, those individuals are dumber than a 5th grader.

Yes, I was thinking of the same thing. Check the Disney Look guides.
