Re: A bittersweet day for Monorail_Red
I would say this: Get down here on the CP as quickly as possible. Things are up in the air right now in Monorails as to what we will do with CP's, so it would be prudent to start a program sooner than later.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

That's my plan. I'm on the email list for the WDWCP...because they aren't accepting apps for Spring yet. I will apply the day I get that email that tells me that they are recruiting for Spring 2010.Big Wallaby wrote:I would say this: Get down here on the CP as quickly as possible. It looks pretty good that the Spring 2010 application will go up Aug 18 (that's what the people on the Spring 2010 FB group are saying).Monorail_Red wrote:That's my plan. I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Re: A bittersweet day for Monorail_Red
Wow, well if it is that early, I don't even start until the 31st! So I'll be applying before I even start the fall semester. I will also have to work on how I can work the WDWCP in with my school. I don't see it being a problem. Since that most of my courses will be offered online in the spring, I can take some of those so I can break even on the credits.joanna71985 wrote:It looks pretty good that the Spring 2010 application will go up Aug 18 (that's what the people on the Spring 2010 FB group are saying).
Wish me luck! :D:

Re: A bittersweet day for Monorail_Red
Forgot to mention, I can only do Spring 2010 because obviously it's too late for Fall 2009, and it's the earliest that I'm eligible for. I would be a freshman in the WDWCP for my 2nd semester.Big Wallaby wrote:I would say this: Get down here on the CP as quickly as possible. I hope that they will still offer Monorails for the CP by then... :(
Thanks, and again, thank you everyone else for the kind words & support. :)joanna71985 wrote:Good luck! :)

if they do still take CP for monorails at that time then I can't imagine anybody around here that would be more appealing to them than you with your love of the trains, Red.

I to wish you al the luck.. but i dont know about this guy.. I mean he calls himself monorail Red for gosh sakes... Thats like calling yourself.... Sweeny Todd... or The Mad Hatter... hmmm do i see a johnny Depp thing here... any who.. i digress.... Monorail Red the train is at best obstanate and very particular in her moods....
Red... my advice to you... Bring a car.. or save up enough money to buy your self a beater when you get here... you will need it.. American Coach is at best unreliable on a good day.. and it takes almost 1.5 hrs to get to walmart... trust me.. you can walk to walmartfaster from CP housing.

Well, I chose the user name before I knew the 'bad' side of Monorail Red. Red is just my favorite color. :D:Doctor McKey wrote:I to wish you al the luck.. but i dont know about this guy.. I plan on bringing my car. It's only a 20hr drive. Long rides are nothing new to me...I drive to FL usually twice per year and I just drove cross-country to Yellowstone Park & back. 35hrs one-wayDoctor McKey wrote:Red... my advice to you... Re: A bittersweet day for Monorail_Red
This reminds me, if I get on the CP I would need to register my car in FL (Spring Advantage) and I'm looking up FL custom license plate configurations, but unfortunately "MAPO RED" isn't available :D:Doctor McKey wrote:Red... my advice to you... Bring a car..
