I see you changed your title. Shouldn't it be "Are you my mummy?"

Sorry. I'm heading to the corner, where Mayonnaise, notatourist and my wife will understand what I just said.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Ooh! Ooh! I get it!

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

Geez Cran, FT @ DLR is only guaranteed 30 hrs. 2 hrs. does make a big difference on Thurs. ;)

Not all contracts at WDW guarantee 32 hrs. Some contracts guarantee only 30...and yeah..that 2 hrs or 10 hrs (depending on how ya look at it) makes a HUGE difference come Thursday.

Corporate has been pushing getting all FT to a 30 hr week using the numbers that the average US FT employee only works 31 hrs per week. Yeah, that is a direct quote from our last contract negotiation.

Why they wanna pay benefits for a FT and only work them 30 hrs beats the hell out of me.

Work weeks shorter than 40 hours permits the Company to force overtime work without having to pay overtime rates for it. Sneaky, but legal. One would expect no less from the Mouse.

Yeah you would think so but...

They give me forced (extra) days and they have to pay me OT.

Yup, let's say it is 1st day off, that is 1.5 OT rate.

OK, no biggie. BUT say it is second regular day off, that is DOUBLE TIME. That is by our contract. Yes, I get double time even if I did not work 1st day off. That is of course if LABOR assigns the shift..oh and they have done this to others...not me. WAH

That is ok though, I just got done working 30 days straight for July. Yup, picked up 6th and 7th days off EHH for 8 hrs each, every week for FOUR weeks. So they may have paid me for 30 hrs straight time (5 days for 6 hrs each day) but then they paid me 8 OT and 8 DOUBLE each of those weeks. :D:

Am going to do the same as soon as possible again. They are playing with the wrong girl on this one. Yeah, I am pissed off. Can you tell?
