Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I was upset or angry about anything, I was merely asking a question. Many people somehow think that every one automatically knows that they have situations that require extra assistance.February wrote:i don't have a white cane because i've been having surgeries and so was supposed to have my vision restored by now. i do have a forearm crutch that i used when i walk and so people can tell there are disability issues.
i didn't mean to make anyone look bad. i thought i'd stated that 99.9 percent of the cms were wonderful.
consider this thread dead, please. i'd delete it if that were an option at this point. last thing i'm in the mood for these days is making anybody mad around here.
in fact i'm gonna take a little break from the board for a bit. those who want to should know how to find me (and if not you can always tap march on the shoulder and he'll get my attention.
see you guys when i've had a chance to regroup.

I was working at our bus terminal one day when someone came up to the window and asked where a certain bus was. I just kind of half looked and pointed to the bus that was about 5 feet away and said...it's right there in front of you. After I made that hasty remark, he raised up his arm and uncovered his white cane. I felt awful. I didn't know and if I had been aware of his situation, I certainly would have been more interactive in helping him find his way. That's all I'm saying!
