Stupid Fastpasses
Hey i think that the whole fastpass system is stupid, before they had fastpass guests would wait for 2-3 hours to ride an attraction, now when there is a 20-30 min wait theyre running to get fastpasses for an hour away. Fastpasses have spoiled guest, to have fastpass at rides like winnie the pooh or mulhulland madness is ridiculous. Fastpass should be closed during the off season completley, not just on the week days, but completly. When it first came out it was ok but now its starting to piss me off becuz they standy by guests always complain becuz theyre moving to slowly, the fastpass guest always complain that theyre not moving fast enough, and somtimes i just wanna slap both stand by and fastpass and say "shut up and stop your bitching, you guys are at the happiest place on earth, act like it. DAMN!!!! :Flame:

For many attractions, Mansion, Pooh, Buzz, and Pan fastpass as actually increased the wait time, and others such as Epic are shows with show times. Before fastpass came for all of those attractions the wait time was at most 35 to 45 mins. Now the stand-by wait is 90 to 100 mins. Also I don't know why they are putting fastpass in the new stunt show at the studios. This is the second largest theatre on Disney property when it opens up next year. The only theatre that is larger is Fantasmic which holds a little over 8,000 and I've heard rumors of 12,000 people in that theatre. Now I'm not positive but I've heard that the stunt show is going to hold 6,000 people. Also this is a show with show times that you have to be there before the show starts, and for shows people never wait through a show.
Elvis didn't do no drugs!
Fastpass is a ridiculous stystem in its current state. Lines would move much faster without it, for example when you hop in the 2 hour line 5 minutes before the park closed it only takes 40 minutes to get through. The walkways get crowded with guests, and they clog the entrance. Lines are also getting defaced and damaged and tagged because they move so slow. I think they should outright turn off the FP machines when the line is less than 20 minutes! People getting FPs for screamin when the wait is like 20 seconds is ridiculous.
Also, its bad for downtimes. For example if theater A closes at soarin' the line for fastpass stretches to taste pilots grill's entrance, and the standby wait is jacked up 400%.

They are removing Fastpass at Pirates at DL completely. Mansion doesn't use it during non Mansion Holiday. DL Pooh lost fastpass completly as well. Small World Holiday isn't using Fast Pass this year.
The worst is when you are at Groundskeeper at Mansion (the person who screens wheelchairs) and the fast pass line goes through the 1st switch back, while stand by is going through 4 and the people in the fastpass line refuse to believe that they are in the fastpass line cause the stand by "looks" shorter.

These are the rafts TO the island. Not AROUND, not OVER, not UNDER and not THROUGH. Thank you for riding T. Saywer's shuttle service please visit again.
Pirates is a BAD pinch point (hence why its called the Pit during Fantasmic!) When we're doing extended queue at Mansion right out front becomes another pinch point and then there are all the people stopping and early fastpass arrivals.....
Fastpass was a bad idea can anyone believe its one of the options to vote for in the top 10 Disneyland Momments?

Yeah how some of those things got on the list is beyond me. west street being renamed disneyland drive? COME ON people!?!?! I am suprised no dumbasses put tomorrowland redo of the late 90s on there, or parade of the stars. And wtf can the special gift they are promising the cast for the 50th be that will be determined by the results of this election?
Personally, I voted for the opening of disneyland, first monorail, matterhorn (it was the first steel rollercoaster if i'm not mistaken), opening of pirates of the caribeean, opening of haunted mansion, opening of space mountain, opening of dtd, dca, and gch, announcement disneyland would be built in anaheim, first fireworks, and 1980s redo of fantasyland (compared to WDW's fantasyland ours is a million times better, especially with the castle now repainted).

When I opened Alice one morning, I found a Fastpass on the ground for Mansion for 9:15. Now, the park opened at 8 so why in the world would you walk all the way to NOS, get a fastpass when the line was probably a minute long, and then walk all the way to the opposite side of the park and then walk all the way back for a ride whose line was probably 10 minutes long? I used to think fastpass was a good idea but then again I really never used it because I always liked waiting in line. Now that I'm a CM, I think it really sucks. The way the rides are designed, there are normally two sides to an attraction or at least two load positions and if there isn't like Space, the dispatch interval is fast enough to move people through the line.
I always like it when people ask why Peter Pan doesn't have fastpass and I respond "why? so you can wait in a longer line?" (Pan's line is normally 15+ minutes long, even in the off season! AND its less than a 2 MINUTE ride!)

Note: this isn't a complaint, just a curious observation. ;)sledspace wrote:I always like it when people ask why Peter Pan doesn't have fastpass and I respond "why? so you can wait in a longer line?" For the life of me I can never understand why it is the Peter Pan ride is always so long. At night, I've found I can go into all the other Fantasyland rides with practically no waiting, but Peter Pan's Flight is always busy right down to the last minute. I remember once when I was exiting after the park was in the process of shutting down, and everywhere else was empty since everyone had left, and there was Peter Pan's Flight, roped off but still packed... lol! I love Peter Pan's Flight and enjoy it a lot, but I'm still perplexed as to why it's always so busy.
