BW
As a long-time lurker, it was always evident that you cared very much about making guest experiences safe, happy and enjoyable. We know the SG's are the tiny minority. My wife and I will be showing our support for the dedicated CM's who work so hard by attending the Encore! performance this weekend. The participants are extremely talented and United Arts can use the support.

Keep up the good work, don't let the b***ds get you down, and maybe we'll see you on the platform or in the front cab on some future day.

Those Darwin Award Winners (DAWs), whose wives slapped them upside the head at least had sensible wives. Too bad the wives didn't use the nearest heavy blunt object to hit them with instead. Stupid psychopathic bullies. That's what they are--SPBs. Those kind enjoy making people who are down even more miserable. They think it gives them superiority over others. The truth is, the only thing they are superior to is their own shit. You did the right thing--and using the F-bomb was appropriate, because it's a shocker that gets their attention. I say you should take them to a secret backstage arena and have like a Thunderdome where they have to fight each other, to the death. Winner gets to live until they get taken out by a new opponent.

People like that are mentally ill, and need to be locked up in a psych ward permanently. Maybe they should be forced to perform for the amusement of others--that used to be done in Europe--with the admission fees going to the CMs as a bonus. As for feeding such pests, they should be forced to find their own food, even if it's each other.

The best she could do is slap him upside the head?! Where is a knee in the groin when you need one?

Damn, and I thought the guests were a bunch of angry mofos. Some of what I am reading here... a bit extreme, no?

I've had to deal with my fair share of these people as well. I don't give anybody the satisfaction of losing my temper. I generally just tell them that yes there was an accident, and if they want to know more then the NTSB will probably have it's report released in about a year.

The ones that like to make a show, I embarrass them. I tell them that if they didn't manage to accidentally hang themselves while tying their shoes, then they will live today.

I did have one particularly unsavory guest. I told him that his comments were giving me the impression that he was mentally unfit to board the monorail, as I feared that he might freak out and start attacking others. I said that if I had any more indications that he was in a dangerous state of mind, that I would call security and have him escorted out of the park and taken into police custody for his own safety, as well as that of his family. He got quiet real quick.

Stupidity is not a handicap, stand elsewhere.

BW, that's beyond appalling. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that.

It reminds me of when I was working at a local aquarium, and Steve Irwin had just died. People would come up to the ray tank and say, with big grins, "Hey, aren't these things what killed that Crocodile Hunter guy?" It was disrespectful to Steve Irwin, and it was disrespectful to the rays. It's like the jerks were trying to get entertainment out of someone's death. I understand that people are curious and want to know what happened, but some people are just sick about it.

FYI..just call Security. Many have been taken care of in far nastier ways than you can imagine by Security and law enforcement in the days since the accident.

Yes, it continues to be some very long days here at WDW.

Steve Irwin died when I was at a huge event and it got me really down. One of the actresses at the event asked why I was down, I mentioned Irwin and her reply was since he was a zookeeper, it was good riddance...

Yesterday I was at the park. Security was telling me that there was bad pin trading going on and SG fighting constanly. My friend David told me that a few pin traders were kicked out. I have pins, but I don't trade them. If you are going to enjoy a peaceful day at a Disney park, leave then pins at home and leave them there.

We got pins for Abby, but only let her trade with CM's. I have some that mean something to me, and I would not trade them. I even got the pin holders that require that small allen wrench to affix them :)

Not all pin traders are bad. I love pin trading, but I am not obsessed with it. I only trade with CMs, and I like trying to find the Hidden Mickey CM pins.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!
