Re: The Blame Game
Such BS.
"Other new labor-saving systems, such as automatically closing doors, have resulted in fewer operators being needed to load and unload trains." Yeah, Mark VIs have been around for HOW long?
"He [pink] should have noticed his green MAPO light didn’t turn red." Um...
"gave the okay to run Lime without air pressure (hence, no brakes)" From the very little I know about air brakes no pressure = locked on brakes.
"Sloppy attitudes by sloppy folks." Same to you about your writing.

Hey guys, if you really dislike the article, then you might want to consider e-mailing him and letting him know. This isn't the first time that his thoughtless writing has annoyed people, and he needs to know that he upset people.

Better yet, if you are in the area, he tells you where he will be at the end of that article. That would be a good time to chime in on what you think of his writing ;)

Hate the article all you want but the truth is that training is not what it once was at Disney. I worked in attractions at Disney and saw many trainees signed off that should not have been. I have also seen managers not wanting to call downtimes even when guest safety was in question. So this article was not so far fetched. Stop drinking the Kool-aid for just one moment and really take a close look at Disney and you will find that it is not all happy pixie dust we remember.

SGT site is the only Disney board I'm on. He's a reason why.
thanks, I don't need to research him if he has published/written something that is not truthful about Disney. I have enough time taken up running searches on other points I need.
sounds like he is a fair weather friend to WDW. He writes books about it and makes money, then condems the very same organazation that gave him a (indirect) livelyhood?
kinda sounds like an SG trick!
