I went to the Midnight showing of Harry Potter, so when I heard the name on the news I looked up. They went to a theater in Winter Garden I think, to talk to the "First" person in line. And who else would show up 4hrs early for a midnight movie?...

Unfortantly I was too busy laughing and trying to explain to one of the guys there who Linda Skywalker is, to listen to what she said. And of course she was dressed for the occassion.
Wow....that's all I can say. Just curious, who was she dressed as?
SandrA9810 wrote:Skywalker... Star Wars. She ALWAYS shows up like 5hrs before the next person gets in line for SWW and she's there every day during the event. She's also obssessive over HSM and Troy, and Ron Stoppable apparently. She has a thing of showing up excessivly early for any event that she's into.
Yeah, it's pretty crazy.

Who knows... it seems most people go to the assumption there's something mentally wrong wiith some of the more frequent vistors to Disney. Most people that talk to her say she's pretty nice, but she does go way over the top on anything she's into. And apparently she shows up constantly to the HSM show but is still horrible at dancing.

I wonder if she is on the autistic spectrum. The obsession thing could fit into that.

Thats possible. having interviewed a large number of people, you can pick out indicators that can give you an idea of where someone might be coming from. Without asking her some specific questions, you get a few clues that she might be leaning in that direction.

She is obviously still pretty functional.

Then again, the first Star Trek convention in anaheim, I attended with my then girfriend, we saw a LOT of people that like to dress up and make there own costumes. After that, it didn't really seem so strange!

I always remember that when I moved to our downtown office in San Diego, I would exit the freeway and drive surface streets (faster)

I would usually pass a certain bus stop about 5 or 10 minutes past 8, and started seeing this guy waiting for the bus, if FULL klingon costume, right down to the headpiece.

(I always wanted to give him a ride and walk him around my office, introduce him as a "contact", hehehehhe)
