On the Tower of Terror, in the library while it's dark and we're watching the short introductory movie, one CM tryed scaring people by sneaking up behind them and grabbing their shoulder, it was pretty funny, but it didn't work on me cus I'd already been on the ride like 18 times...

Heehee! Sounds like something my cousin would do. She works that attraction.

"I have a stupid question for you."

"Can I have a map?"

"Where is the restroom?"

"Do you work here?"

I've seen people do that before at ToT at the Studios here in Florida and it's kinda hillarious.

Wookie Tickle

Post by Sweetums » Wed Nov 10, 2004 12:30 pm

Even though it was frowned upon by upper management, my leads and myself could never get enough of this. I call it the "Wookie Tickle".
Whenever we were doing Chewbacca sets at Star Tours (WDW) and it began to rain, we were forced to go indoors. Chewie's fur/hair can't get wet. It's a big mess. Anyway, Chewbacca never had to sign autographs (at least not when I was a character) because his culture/race didn't have a written language, and so it was very easy to walk through the cue line meeting and greeting guests as they waited. I would climb on top of the speeder and help R2-D2, or wave from the control booth with Admiral Ackbar and various other locations. But there was one area that we fondly referred to as "The Black Hole" where I would wreak major havoc upon the guests.
As you're walking from the speeder bay (in the cue line) to the droid room, the cue line takes a sharp left. The difference in lighting between the two rooms goes from light to dark and on that one turn, it's pitch black! I found a sunken platform on one side of the guardrail that could support my weight and as I would travel throught the cueline, I would eventually make it there and then duck out of guest view. If the line was slow, most people's eyes would have enough time to adjust to the darkness to see me, but if it was moving steady...
All I had to do was reach my wookie hand out and flick the hair against their ankles. It would cause everyone to jump and scream! Most people thought it was some sort of rodent or animal running past them. I could sit there for 20 to 30 minutes just doing that while my lead watched and laughed from the balcony (handicap ramp) above. Even the big manly-men would freak out! It was hysterical.
There was one time when I embarassed the hell out of a young couple, and after it was all done, I was a little embarassed too. Y'know how couples hold on to each other and give each other back massages while waiting in line? Well the line had come to a dead stop, and I was stuck in the black hole. I didn't want to scare anyone or move because their eyes would have adjusted by then and they would be able to see me and I'd be mobbed. So I sat there in my crouch position motionless. Directly in front of me was a young frisky couple and the guy was massaging her shoulders and kissing her neck and then brought his hands down to her waist. They didn't stay there long, as he slowly started to bring them up to her boobs. Obviously convinced that no one in line could see him in the darkness, he continued to cop a feel. This was all inches away from my face, and I couldn't resist any longer. I reached my hand under the rails and tickled the girls ankle. She let out a huge shriek! and the guy's hand jerked away from her breast as he yelled out, "I'm sorry! I thought you liked it when I did that!" The girl told him some animal had brushed by her leg and as they began to look down, they both saw me. Realizing I had been there the whole time and saw everything, their faces turned beet-red! With my cover blown, I hopped back over the gaurdrail into the crowd and went to the nearest CM exit. I couldn't stop laughing!

Grad nights really don't count. ALL CMs try to scare & mess with grads. They deserve it
