Question For Bus Drivers

Post by Cheshire Figment » Sun Jul 05, 2009 5:49 pm

We had a report in the disABILITIES Forum from someone who had boarded a bus and said that there were three spaces for wheelchairs and/or ECVs. Have we been getting buses with a new configuration or what?

When we were down in June, I recall being on at least one bus that had that
configuration.

I've only ever seen two places to secure a mobility device in the Disney buses.

With the new Gilligs, there came several with 3 tie downs. Exactly how many, I'm not sure. I do know that not all the new 09 Gilligs are equiped that way. The original "Special services bus" 4815 (A Nova) has 4 tie downs.
