Hubby & I are working on a fireworks crew. On the 3rd, we set up the racks. And then on the 4th, we load, shoot, and clean up. It's our biggest show of the year.
And Hubby & I first met on a fireworks crew over a Fourth of July weekend. :D:
Be safe & have a great Fourth!

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

I like all your signs, Pirate! :D:
We have to stay home and babysit the horse who is frightened by the fireworks. Had to take her to the vet yesterday as she has a deep cough. Vet gave her some bronchodilator and antibiotics. Don't need her to get upset by all the loud kabooms.
Stupid neighbors (several of them) don't know the meaning of the word "illegal" as in fireworks. If it gets too bad I'm calling the cops (again). Hate to ruin anybody's fun but when it comes to my animals I'm very protective. I keep the dogs in the house but the living room is off limits to the horse.
I am slow cooking a mess of ribs and we'll have a feast tonight.
