Best of luck to you, Zazu. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Just saw this post, so I'm late too. Zazu, hope you're conscious, comfortable, and on the road to quick recovery. Your fan club is waiting to hear from you, but take your time. ;)

Re: The Hornbill and the Knife
Howdy all!
Back home again, 30g lighter with a jar of Oxycodone in hand and two dozen stainless steel staples in my belly. Surgery went well, pathology says "negative margins" (that's good), we just have to wait six months to see if PSA levels drop as they should.
Funniest part was when a supervisor came in to tell me that I'd be getting a questionnaire in a couple of weeks to survey my opinion of their "guest service". I don't know why a hospital wants to be judged by the standards of a theme park, but boy howdy can I give them a review! (I've written four pages so far.) I don't think my health suffered any, but my attitude took some major hits; theirs should too when they read it!
Thanks for all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. They seem to have worked!

Re: The Hornbill and the Knife
That is good to hear that you are feeling better. As for me, I did have an ultra sound done to check for kidney stones and problems that come with them. Disney mom, I have a question? Since when do the doctors do an ultra sound near the arm pits to find the kidneys? I could have sworn the kidneys are in the middle to lower back. This morning I passed a sliver type stone and another sliver type stone again at work. At least the last surgery broke the stones into the splinters. These were all protein stones. Can you give me a suggestion on how to change my diet? Thanks. :)
