I can fully believe this one. Back at a company that I use to work for I had to order a part for a machine I was working on. This conversation took place:delsdad wrote: "It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England, it only took the Americans three hours to get home."

Me: I need to have [company part number] shipped down to [office code].
Parts person: Why? I'm showing that you have 2 in your [regional distribution point].
Me: Yes, but [regional distribution point] is in Atlanta, that's 4 and a half to 5 hours away. I need it shipped down to me.
Parts person: Why is it so far away?
Me: I don't know, I didn't layout the state..
I got in trouble for being "rude" by saying that..
