She was a really wise woman! :D:

Nuff said. :D:

My dad didn't use a belt on a tree, he went straight to our behinds!

Remember when you went to the county or state fair, and people would hand out yardsticks as promotional items.

Let's just say that, with me and my brother, my parents would pick up every one they could find. ;)

My parents used to use the bolo paddles for that. As soon as the ball and rubber band broke, that became the spanking paddle. We used to HATE to get those as prizes at the fair or doctor's office.

We had an arrow GAC on our last trip for my youngest daughter who's 4. We tried not to use it if at all possible and used FP or just waited it the line wasn't too long. The few times we did use it we got some of the rudest comments, I couldn't believe the balls some of these people had. Seems like people are getting ruder and stupider.

It's an alternate line for if you pose a danger to yourself or others. An Autistic child who bites and kicks when tantrums start is a good example of this, but there are a billion different ways you could legitimately need one.

"I'm too lazy to control my perfectly healthy children" isn't one of them.
