refillable cups

Post by Heavenleigh » Sat Jun 06, 2009 12:35 pm

So I work in F&B in MK. We do not have refillable cups in our park as most of you know only animal kingdom and the waterparks and resorts. Anywho, A SG comes up and asks for a refillable cup.

I explain "Sorry sir our cups are not refillable its a one time buy and one time use." He then proceeds to tell me for 35 mins that he was just at this park yesterday and he had a refillable cup and a refillable popcorn bucket. I explain again that we do not have refillable anything in our park.

He then calls me a idot and tells me that after he rode THE HULK he bought a refillable cup and refillable popcorn.......

Excatly. If you missed that he said after THE HULK... I then had to spend the next 20mins explaining to him that his wonderful refillable cup was at UNIVERSAL NOT DISNEY!!!

He finally decided he was right and I was wrong and proceeded to go to space mountian which fyi has been closed for a month. Just wow at some people

Ah, but don't you know? SGs are always right, and never wrong. ;)

Welcome to SGT Heavenleigh. :)

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Fortunately for us - maybe? - there is a free, ever-refilling supply of SGs, drawing from an apparently infinite reservoir of stupidity!

Heavenleigh,
:welcome: to :sgt: from :wallaby: and :wombat: !!! :D: :D: :D:

When I went to Islands of Adventure, they had the same policy. No free refills. They have the same rules at Disneyland. For drinks. buy a regular size drink and pour it into the cup. For popcorn, buy a scoop and pour it into the bucket. That's how they keep inventory folks. I believe ODV carts don't do free refills on the coffee cups. Some lady claimed that she got a refill for her popcorn bucket at Princess Fantasy Fair for $3.50, that's a good one.

You should have told him that the free refill cups are only sold just outside THE HULK ride!!

hehehehheheee

I personally don't get the refill cup thing. When I want a soda, or water or whatever, I buy one and drink it. I don't want to lug around a cup at the park. If I get thirsty again, i'll buy another drink!

The only free refills are if you buy the "meal deal w/ sipper cup."

They also sell refillable cups but the refills aren't free. The drinks are just discounted (59 cents) with the refillable cups. They've had these for over 5 years and the cups are good forever.
