I found this and thought i share with you all:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Disneyland-Employee ... 7C294%3A50
Old TL jacket, not sure if it is considered "stolen."
There was another one up that I couldn't find now. It was of the old jacket from ODV.
Questions, comments, concerns, worries, wishes??

As long as your not the one selling it there's nothing to be done.
How ever if you ever see one of those long canvas DLR coats, I'd like one. ;)

I have one of those jacktets around here. Also have the cool ODV shirt - blue, yellow, green, red, with MM large face in yellow on the front side. Should return it, but it's not mine.DLRFantasmic!Dan wrote:There was another one up that I couldn't find now. It was of the old jacket from ODV.

Don't expect to see that listing for too long. E-Bay does check for things like this.
Re: Stolen Disney Propery Sold On Ebay!!
In one of the photos you can see the jacket still has the bar code on it. Isn't that how Disney tracks the costume pieces?
Re: Stolen Disney Propery Sold On Ebay!!
Yes, Disneyland does have bar codes on them for tracking and to see who has it out under their name.
Re: Stolen Disney Propery Sold On Ebay!!
I see stuff like that all the time on there.
once I even saw some charactor costumes on there. I called legal and said, some one on ebay has some disney charactor costumes for sale, the girl said, oh yes, disney costumes are for sale all the time on there. I said NO, not retail costumes, the private inhouse costumes, she said, please hold. after a few minutes a man got online and asked for the ebay link, then put me back on hold. then the girl came back on and said thank you very much for calling them. the seller even had close up pictures of the wardrobe property tags.
yeah, steal inhouse costumes and sell them in public, no one will ever notice.

The jacket looks to be in great shape. A little too funky to wear though (outside of being a TL CM)
Besides,it's too big.

Re: Stolen Disney Propery Sold On Ebay!!
Ok.. here is how these auctions work....
Wardrobe ( at least at WDW ) have three options for retired or retiring pieces........
1: Shred it / Donate it = In this option.. if the piece is a dedicated piece to an area that can not be donated to local shelters for disadvantage persons due to look.. ( i.e. Mission Space ). If it is a dedicated piece and can be dyed to change the nature of it not to look like a costume.. then they will do that and donate it. If its a standard piece like a main street ops, then the bar code is removed from the system and sent to local shelters or Alvation Army style retail store.
2: Sell the pieces at the Disney's Cast Connection or Damages. so that cast members can buy them for them self.
3: Hire and outsourced company like Mouse Surplus to get rid of unwanted pieces.
Now if any pieces are to be distroyed... such as a Entertainment Piece ( Mickey head) or a Dedicated Piece ( Mission Space ) then the pieces will go to a wood chipper for distruction. Yes I did say wood chipper... talk to Big Wallaby about it....
