Re: Monorail SG
Well, if the announcement "Express Monorail NON STOP to Mk or TTC" was not clue enough... :)GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Maybe the kids needed a bathroom, and that kicked in the emergency?
you would think that passing the hotel ONCE would be enough of a "clue"

Re: Monorail SG
Woah. What's this about announcements on the Monorail?
Sorry, but I am trying to learn Chinese. I don't listen to any pre-recorded announcements in English.

Re: Monorail SG
SR-535 (Apokpa-Vineland Rd) North until you hit Old Winter Garden Rd, make a right, then a right on Hiawassee. Left on Metrowest, right on Kirkman, right on Conroy, left on Turkey Lake, and then left on Production Plaza.Zazu wrote:True, but the stupider the guest, the more likely I am to send them up I-4.
For the truly obnoxious, I recommend SR-417!
Slightly more direct, you could send them all the way to USO on Kirkman, but by the time we're using Kirkman to send guests from WDW to USO, why not make it as inconvenient as possible?

Re: Monorail SG
Bonus points if they go by Cypress Gardens, Busch Gardens (take your pick which one) or a Six Flags in the process.hhsrat wrote:but by the time we're using Kirkman to send guests from WDW to USO, why not make it as inconvenient as possible?
Even more bonus if you can get them to use three or more toll roads in the process.
Gold medal if they get pulled over and ticketed for reckless driving.
Please note, this is reserved for the ones that you think your managers would think should never come back.

Hmm .... Coming up with a route that uses 3 toll roads to get to USO from Kirkman ... that's difficult.Big Wallaby wrote: Even more bonus if you can get them to use three or more toll roads in the process..
However, if we change the previous directions a little bit ...
Old Winter Garden to Hiawassee, make a LEFT on Hiawassee, and then a right onto 408 East. Take that up to John Young, cut across to the 528, East, and then take 528 East to 417 South. Follow that to International Drive, make a right on I-Drive, all the way up to Sand Lake, make a left, then a right onto Turkey Lake, and then a right on Vineland, and a right on Kirkman, that'll get them to USO. (or cut out Vineland and Kirkman, and just make a right onto Production Plaza)
Unfortunately, I'm not thinking of a routing that involves the Turnpike, 429, or the toll portion of Osceola Pkwy.

10-4. But the most important thing, what is the total cost to the SG?
