Hi Joanna!!!! I remember you from ...errr board X :D:

I am the mommy to the little girl who had the food fight with the munks at GG last Feb! They held poor pluto down and made an ice cream Sunday out of his nose ;)
Those munks were OUT OF CONTROL ... but my DD still talks about it every time we bring up Disney ~ her most favorite moment EVER :D:

Ah, yes. THAT Board X (took me a bit to remember, as I post on 8 Disney message boards, including this one). I remember that story, and it was really funny. :)

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Yup~ that board X :D:

My DD still talks about that character encounter any time Disney is brought up LOL

For those who are reading and scratching your head (as in if you really care...)
Last Feb we were at the last seating at Garden Grill. My DD had bows made up to theme Chip N Dale. The munks hijacked her bows and would not give them back LOL
Then they fought over my DD and used up her entire autograph book insulting each other! She let the munks keep the bows and they were thrilled with them. They kept us in the place until after closing where they proceeded to hold pluto down and made him into an ice cream sunday LOL They also wiped my DD in whipped cream and they had a huge food fight :D:
We DID help with the clean up after but poor pluto was a mess. The munks were out of control LOL

BUT it was my DD favorite moment EVER at Disney and she loves watching the video of it! She talks ALL the time about her food fight with them.
The funniest part is my DD is really shy and quiet. She is miss prim and proper ~ it was totally out of character with her to be so wild but those chipmunks brought something out of her that night I have never seen from little miss perfect!

Yeah, I just think that "Chipmunks Gone Wild" creates the wrong kind of image for that, I mean, how many chipmunks that you know of wear shirts?

I think my best Chipmunk story is when Judy got married to Dale at breakfast at the Cape May Cafe. We were in one of the booths that is open at both sides. I spotted the Character Handler when I was going up to the buffet and told her that Judy (who I pointed out) was very much in love with Dale.

A little while later all four Characters came up to the table. Dale got down on bended knee and took one of Judy's hands into his. Chip, who was standing next to him, opened a napkin and inside were two napkin rings. Goofy started gesturing as if he were conducting a ceremony, and then Dale put one of the napkin rings on two of Judy's fingers. Judy played along and put the other ring on Dales finger.

Of course the Characters were not allowed to talk, but many notes were written on the placemats. Goofy did mention that people are allowed to marry one of each species at WDW, but the marriage is valid only on WDW property. And that Judy would have to notify Dale in advance prior to any subsequent trips so he would be able to reserve time for her (from his other wives).

Funny!

Chip gave me grief on my last trip. From my trip report:
Before Chip leaves, he takes the time to blow a kiss to Linda and then to Becky, and then turns to go.

“What, no kiss for me?” I joke.

Chip turns, considers me for a moment, then shakes his head – and holds out his paw.

I go to shake his paw, and Chip pulls it back. Ah, so that’s the way it’s going to be, huh? I drop my hand, and Chip sticks his out again. I go to shake it and it’s pulled back once more. Ornery little chipmunk.
I have had him do that to me, but I surprised him by bringing in my other hand to catch his wrist so he couldn't pull back the second time. Of course, if he was blowing kisses while I was around I would have to ask, "What about Clarice?"
