MY SGT story

Post by praline3001 » Thu May 07, 2009 9:52 pm

I am HOPING non-CM's are allowed to brag about SGT :D:
Cause BOY do I have a good one :D:

Last June my DD and I took the Wildlife discovery tour over at AK. We love the animals and we were extremely excited about this tour.

Well there was another family on the bus with us
Here are just SOME of the comments the mother made:

"Why are there crocs? I thought FL only had gators?"

"Why can't we get off the bus and pet the cute baby rhino? I thought we were going to be allowed to pet the rhinos"

(while the guide was explaining about the hippos being on birth control)
"wouldn't the birth control patch be easier?"

All the while our WONDERFUL guide did not crack a smile ~ did not make fun of this lady and answered every question ~ BRAVO

But here was the statement to beat all statements. I swear I saw a tear trickle down the guide's face and she must have been biting her tongue!
She explained to us about one of the giraffe's maybe was pregnant but they had to wait a few more days to be sure...
Well this SG said something that ..well..errr.

"Do Giraffe nurse their young?"
Being a huge Bill fan I just had to... yup I turned around, looked her right in the eye and said
"Haven't you ever seen the cans of Giraffe formula at Walmart?!?! They are usually on the top shelf"

The poor guide all of a sudden got extremely interested in her clip board and buried her head in it for a few moment :D:

If I remember right, the hippo birth control was with shots. Fourteen new baby hippos later, they decided it hadn't worked.

So they went to abstinence. Works every time it's tried. If you're a Christian it's not 100%, but it's close enough for me. One case out of however many total people have ever walked the earth is not a bad ratio. I'll go ahead and call it 100%.

Hippos: In that regard, they're kinda like the African version of a rabbit.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

From what the guide told us, the Abstinence didn't work either as the boys figured out how to get to the girls
I remember her showing us on one side they kept the boys and the other side were all girls but they went back using birth control due to those boys who were very determine to see their ladies LOL

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Hey, why is it when a cast member in outdoor vending gets SG running to their beverage carts and the SG wants a dumb turkey leg? What is wrong with these stupid guests? If that cast member did have turkey legs on a beverage cart that would be really fun to see. "Sorry floks, my legs are cold and soggy!" "Now please go away!"

I saw how they cooked them back at the MK and seriously don't plan to eat another leg for a long time.

Yeah, we do like to go off topic, but it does tend to be more gradual than that.

I guess it worked as well for the hippos as it does in high schools :D: if there is a will there is a way :p:
