Had a bad scare the other day-- I had taken Tripod to the vet a couple weeks ago,and the other day I got an email from them, saying they had been trying to get ahold of me. Apparently my room, or my neighborhood, is in some kind of Tracfone dead zone, and they were unable to get ahold of me. I freaked, thinking something bad had come up in Tripod's bloodwork. So I emailed them back, saying if it's good news, email me, if it's bad news send me a letter. I got an email today--they want me to reduce Tripod's medication by half, because her T-4 levels are low. She's already taking 1 1/2 pills a day, so that means-- 3/4 of a pill? Well, she's had her whole pill this morning, so I guess I can skip the half pill tonight, and tomorrow give her a half pill, and split one of her half pills to make it a quarter. Sometimes the pill splitter I have doesn't work right, despite lining the groove on the pill with the blade, and pushing it all the way into the back of the cut zone.

In other news, we got satellite T.V. at the house, but internet may take a couple of days--they're having problems. Fortunately, one of my housemates used to work for an ISP, so he knows the ins and outs of it, and is helping my landlady and her husband, who are still working on their English, with that. Hopefully soon I can connect with you all from home instead of the library.

It's great to hear from you feline...sorry about Tripod's meds, but it sounds like you two are starting a new life!

One of my other housemates has offered to help me with the internet problem. We have it, but they gave us a network name and password, but I searched my computer for where it enter it, until my housemate gave me a flashdrive with it on. So perhaps tonight I can access the internet from home instead of the library.

Yeah, when I was living with mom, it was like being under a big black cloud, and anything good that tried to come my way got bounced off. Now I'm starting to feel like I did before my false diagnosis --the smart, funny, happy kid I used to be. Hopefully soon I can go back to the WORK Center and get started on job training.
