Rides and attractions based on movies are not a bad thing. There were movie tie-ins made under Walt's watch.
Walt Disney was no stranger to synergy.

But yes, WDI should indeed also create original rides and attractions as well. :)

I'm excited about this, because I know that WDI has been wanting to update Star Tours for some time.

For those who would like to see a WALL-E attraction. I agree that would be cool.
Who knows? A WALL-E attraction could happen.

But we could have both! Disney could design a restaurant where you recline in your hoverlounger drinking your cupcake-in-a-cup! Mmmmmmmm! Really nice after a day of running around all of the lands in DLR and DCA....They could even have a Priority Seating experience for watching the fireworks! :D:

See, you guys are all like, oh let's change this to be this. I want it to stay the same and a NEW attraction to be built, not replace something.

And Cujo, I support your stance of this being a ban-able offense :D:

Hey, I'm all for that too.
There just needs to be a balance.

I'd definitely vote for that, too. But if they don't create a new WALL-E attraction, I could see a WALL-E overlay on Star Tours being fresher and more appealing than a Star Wars retread. Just sayin'.

BAN HIM!

With new technology they can do something so much better for Star Tours/Star Wars!

Now, I do like the cupcake-in-a-cup idea :D:

Dang, y'all are mean! I got a sound bitch-slapped at Board X for making the same suggestion a while back, but that was nothing compared to the SGT smackdown.

There are some things ya don't do, tug on Supermans cape, spit into the wind, pull the mask off the Lone Ranger, and replace Star Wars with Wall-E.*

Wall-E was just one movie, Star Wars was an entire universe.

Now if they had a Wall-E ride next to Buzz Lightyears Blast, maybe replace the Stitch attempt to use the mission to mars location...
