The backstage part of the tower is creepy too, especially if you go to the 2nd floor custodial closet by going through the hallway to the left of the far right 2nd story elevator and turning right.

Sucks that DL custodial managers are cutting the number of breaks on short shifts (4.5 or 5 hours) from 2 to just 1. If they pull this at DCA I'm gonna have parade for short shifts because that seems to be a 3 hour break with 1 hour work, or i'm going to take a lunch on DTD trash 6.5 hour shift and let the trash cans overflow as I munch down in the bungalow.

I was in the office the other day and some new hire had a esplananade queue shift on a monday morning, 7am-11am. Whats up with that? Wouldn't that be better used doing queues inside the park on a busy day?

Also, I was suprised to see they actually installed those new automatic paper towel dispensers in the DTD restrooms! Didn't know how to work it to put two rolls (one big, one small) in at a time as I didn't have enough time to read the directions. Don't know what the hell to do when the "low battery" light comes on, or the thing gets jammed. Hope they cover this in update training.

Also nitpicky leads, especially in restrooms. Does it honestly matter whether I do upstairs winery before downstairs winery? Its not like they have to cover my lunch on a 4 hour shift.... That and doing a cm restroom in the 5 minutes before your break when no gap will occur. 5 minutes is enough to sign in and sweep and sign out in a guest r/r, which is useless. I also get a lot of flack from leads for taking the 6 liner cart out the gate near the GSF locker. I make the guests move their asses and strollers when I come through that gate with the giant metal cart! Namely the idiots who congregate near the FP return area 10 minutes before their return time. Or the leads who yell at you if you foward sweep a line through like only 15 guests.

Oh though I HATE HATE HATE when guests vandalize my restroom. I have caught one out of the 2 I have witnessed before, and I intend to kill the next one I catch. Why should all the other guests have to die from the smell of the graffiti remover?

LOL. Yea i noticed the new dispensers at DTD too. they're awesome. i like em cuz you don't have to restock the towels so much. i hope they do it inside the park. I also think that the thing they're doing with the cans in the smoking area at Condor is cool too. i haven't noticed so many cigarettes on the ground, but maybe that's just me.

Okay so I had a closing condor shift. firstly Yea for me cuz i figured out how to get into the theaters without getting so lost. lol. also, i realize what you guys mean now when you gripe about the "how many in your party" gag. like at grizzly several groups couldn't make up their mind on how many people they had, "five, no six!" lol. same inside condor. some people didn't even wait they just barged right through. i heard that they barge through and before the CM can say anything the guest is like, "We want the front row". anyways i was waiting for the last flight to end so i could clean the theater, so i chilled with a couple of soarin' castmembers. I'm trying to talk to more attractions people cuz i wanna know about the rides cuz i like collecting trivia.
also whats up with my shift times? my schedule on the portal will say i'm off at 900 but when i get my split sheet it'll say 930. whats up with that. it sucks cuz i keep thinking yea i get to walk at 835 then all of a sudden its 905. i have a 5-9 rr shift today, but i'll betchya anything that its actually 5-930. i don't know, its just that i like having that extra half hour in case i want to go to DTD and listen to music or something. since they're only there thursday thru sunday.

Lol, once scheduling called me in to work the next day in downtown disney, 2-6:30, i'm like "wow, something over 4 on a wednesday". Didn't confirm it on the portal cause it was the next day. I get there and the lead is basically sleeping so I start working. she has me doing utility....aka confetti removal. I go back to check my breaks and crap, one break. Then I look at my start times and it says "2:30-6:30". SHIT. Anyways I was gonna talk to the manager about scheduling being dumbasses and ask to get off 30 minutes early and still get paid but I never got around to it. I HATE SCHEDULING. The pulled the same thing the next time they called me and offered me a 10:30-7:30 restrooms shift. Sure enough i look on the portal having learned my lessons about scheduling and its 10:30-7....

its all good it was 5-9. anyways there was a DCA line in the Simpsons. Its the one where Homer's mom gets arrested after the renaming of a building, and Homer steals the Prison bus and he's like, "I'll hide you in a place that's empty, with not a lot of people, Disney's California Adventures!" Or something like that. i'm not sure. but that's what i heard. :D

stupid sand! I like what they did to Sunshine Plaza cuz its easier to do flowerbeds at close-out. But that stupid sand is annoying. why can't kids just leave the sand in peace and not grab handfulls of it and spread it all over the floor.
